HeroFundUSA, Inc. is partnering with FOX4 for a day-long telethon to raise money for local first responders and emergency workers on Thursday, September 9th.
“Our first major project together will be our 3rd annual HeroFundUSA First Responder Safety Telethon,” stated HeroFundUSA Board Chairman Dan Karst. “During the telethon, FOX4 will be telling their stories.”
The interviews will feature Kansas City first responder agencies that have received funding for new safety equipment and resources from HeroFundUSA, Inc., including law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
“We are proud and excited to be partnering with HeroFundUSA in their quest to keep our local heroes safe,” stated Tracy Brogden Miller, General Manager of FOX4. “The daily perils faced by first responders require our efforts to ensure they get to go home to their loved ones,” concluded Brogden Miller.
HeroFundUSA, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the safety of all first responders throughout the nation. All funds raised stay within the local area to provide funding for safety needs. Since its founding in 2016, HeroFundUSA, Inc. has provided safety equipment funding to 32 departments throughout Missouri and Kansas while also providing immediate funding to the families of 21 first responders following line-of-duty death and/or critical injury.
