HeroFundUSA, Inc. provides safety gear funding to Sugar Creek Fire Department and Police Department
January 29, 2020; HeroFundUSA, Inc. staff recently visited the Sugar Creek Police and Fire Department Headquarters to present checks to both departments—funding for bunker gear for the Fire Department and funding for a drone for the Police Department.
“These important safety items could not have been purchased without the assistance of HeroFundUSA, Inc.” stated Sugar Creek City Manager Pat Casey.
Police Chief Christopher Soule added, “Drones allow us to get a view of what’s happening in a dangerous environment before sending personnel into harm’s way.”
Fire Chief Nathan Richardson noted, “Clean, safe, state-of-the-art bunker gear keep our firefighters safe during dangerous fire situations and also from contracting cancer and other serious illnesses over time.”
Sugar Creek, Missouri is located in the northeast quadrant of the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area situated between Independence and the Missouri River.
